3D Printing

What was once a fantasy idea that only existed in Star Trek, is now a technology that so many people have access to. They're even 3D printing houses now!

The type of 3D printing we use involves taking plastic spun on a reel, melting it and pushing it through a tiny metal nozzle onto a heated bed, then rapidly cooling it to retain it's shape. The plastic builds up objects at a fraction of a millimetre at a time, into the objects that you see here.

The plastic we usually use for most of our prints is called Polylactic Acid, abbreviated to PLA. It is sturdy, and foodsafe. This means that you can chew on it, and not get sick. (But we don't think it would taste too great...)

We make everything we sell on our own 3D printers.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

All the toys have been drop tested onto carpet and grass without issue. However, we cannot recommend rough play with them, due to the layered design they are made with they can still break under pressure.

Wash with warm water only, as hot or boiling water will cause the models to deform.

PRINTERS:
